Puppy Application

Before reaching out, we kindly ask that you take the time to read through our Puppy Info and Expected Litters pages. Most common questions are answered there, and it’s the best way to get familiar with our breeding program.

At present, the waitlist for my next planned litter is full (with the exception of one very specific opening). I am not accepting general applications for future litters at this time. If that spot is relevant to you, details are posted on the Expected Litters page.

If you’re interested in being considered for a puppy, the next step is filling out the Puppy Questionnaire. There’s no obligation, but this is the only way to start the application process and be considered for a future litter.

​I spend many hours reviewing applications, contacting references, and getting to know potential families. Because of this, I ask that you only apply for a Thunder Ridge puppy once you are confident this is the program for you. I encourage you to take the time to explore other breeders first, rather than applying here while “shopping around.” I want to avoid situations where families drop off my list because a different puppy was available sooner. Once you join my waitlist, I consider it a genuine commitment for us to move forward together.

We’re always happy to answer general questions by email, but we can’t move forward with matching or waitlist placement until we’ve received a completed application.

We care deeply about our puppies and want to give them the best possible start, which includes thoughtful placements. This questionnaire helps us learn about you, your home, and what you're looking for. If you're not comfortable sharing this information, we may not be the right fit.
