Puppy Application

Before reaching out, we kindly ask that you take the time to read through our Puppy Info and Expected Litters pages. Most common questions are answered there, and it’s the best way to get familiar with our breeding program.​

If you’re interested in being considered for a puppy, the next step is filling out the Puppy Application. ​

Applications are accepted year-round.

Submitting an application is the first step in our puppy placement process. It allows us to learn about you, your lifestyle, your goals, and what you're looking for in a future Border Collie. Every application is carefully reviewed, and approved applicants may be invited to join our waitlist.

Submitting an application does not guarantee puppy availability or placement on our waitlist.

Waitlist

A $100 CAD waitlist deposit is required to reserve your place. This deposit is applied toward the purchase price of your puppy and is non-refundable unless we are unable to provide a suitable puppy within a reasonable timeframe (up to three years).

Our Placement Process

Our focus is on producing Border Collies for active sport, performance, and working homes, with the occasional show prospect, and companion pup.

Puppies are matched based on temperament, structure, drive, and each family's goals, rather than on a first come, first served basis. We ask that you only apply once you feel confident that Thunder Ridge Border Collies is the right fit for you, as we view our waitlist as a mutual commitment.
